I had a nurse who was very accommodating and would even come to my work and change my dressings and give me iv treatments.
After 7 days in isolation I was discharged.i returned to work 3days after. I was diagnosed with pneumonia, a staph infection, and a double lung infection. I received approximately 20 bags of fluid and 8pints of blood. My husband drove me to the hospital where I coded 3 times. After a couple treatments I went to work one day and passed out. This changed my treatment to chemotherapy.i would get my chemotherapy treatments and go right to work. I had a lumpectomy and the surgeon also had to remove a lymph node. In January 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. They offer a short term disability (6 months) at 60% pay through Matrix absence management.
